National School Music Programme-Ukulele
Our National School Music Programme-Ukulele offers a vibrant, curriculum-aligned experience that prioritises fun, student engagement, and hands-on learning. With a minimum of 35 weekly visits from a dedicated music tutor throughout the school year (beginning mid to late September), students are immersed in a dynamic and inclusive music journey where they learn by doing.

Listening and Responding
- Exploring a wide range of sounds (environmental, vocal, instrumental, body percussion)
- Responding to various musical styles and traditions
- Developing musical awareness and appreciation
Performing
- Singing in unison and simple parts
- Playing the ukulele and rhythm instruments
- Reading and performing simple rhythmic and melodic patterns
Composing
- Encouraging improvisation and creativity
- Composing short pieces with guidance
- Talking about and reflecting on their own musical ideas
