We recognise the financial challenges of purchasing an instrument when there is no guarantee your child is going to still like it after five lessons. We have you covered with the Munster Music Academy Instrument Bank, our wonderfully diverse selection of free instruments available for you to learn on. All you have to pay is 20 euros to cover the insurance policy and the instrument is yours to use for the academic year at MMA.
We have a limited number of instruments available so don’t delay and enquire below today. Instruments are provided on a first-come, first served basis. All applicants are required to include a short paragraph about why you want to learn this instrument and what makes you such a worthy candidate?

Exciting new additions to our instrument bank are the Nuvo instrument range of phenomenal plastic flutes, clarinets, saxophones and french horns.
These instruments are ergonomically suitable for all ages. They are lightweight and easy to handle. They are designed to make note production easy for beginners but the quality of the tone is not compromised.
Nuvo instruments are easy to carry around, assemble and clean. The materials used are 100% washable in warm soapy water. The instruments respectfully preserve the musicality of traditional instruments while adding modern innovations that make learning more effective, especially for children.
Most importantly these instruments can withstand extreme use making them particularly suited to kids and active brothers and sisters. It is safe to keep them assembled and out on a desk stand or wall hanger, which encourages more frequent practice. Thank you Nuvo from all the parents and teachers.
The jSax opens up whole new opportunities for kids to take up the sax at an early age. The jSax follows traditional saxophone fingering patterns and enables kids to develop sax embouchure and playing skills at an early age. It has a surprising mellow sax sound. For beginners with small fingers there is a set of plugs (training wheels!) which can be used to help seal the tone holes in the early days of learning. The jSax is lightweight, super-durable and is 100% waterproof.
The NUVO Clarinéo is a clarinet in the key of C and is ideal for young starters from 6 to 12 years. It is much lighter and smaller than a Bb clarinet taking away a lot of the physical challenges. It can give a child up to three years head start on learning the clarinet. The instrument is easy and inexpensive to maintain as well as being 100% washable in warm soapy water.
